Our Love Life Cafés are continuing throughout 2026 at Barton Lodge and Woodley Grange Care Homes and we’re really pleased to be welcoming back families, friends and members of the local community.
The café offers a relaxed and friendly setting where residents and guests can spend time together, enjoying refreshments, music, games and conversation. It’s a simple idea, but one that brings a lot of enjoyment.
Why community matters
Being part of the local community is incredibly important to our residents. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new people and sharing time with others helps everyone feel connected and supported. The Love Life Café provides a valuable opportunity for residents to enjoy time with people from outside the home, as well as with friends and family.
Something different each month
Throughout the year, we also enjoy adding variety with themed café sessions, often linked to the seasons or special dates in the calendar. These sessions give everyone something a little different to look forward to and help keep each café feeling fresh.

Everyone is welcome
Both cafés are open to families, friends and the wider community, and guests are always welcome to bring others along. Whether you’re visiting a loved one or simply popping in for a friendly get-together, you’ll always find a warm welcome.
