What Is Convalescent Care?

If your loved one has been in hospital or is recovering from a fall, surgery or illness, our convalescent care offers a calm, supportive place to rest and regain strength.

Our team provides attentive day‑to‑day care, gentle encouragement and the reassurance needed during recovery, while making sure your loved one feels comfortable and well looked after.

We can also arrange physiotherapy or occupational therapy if it would support their recovery and help them feel more confident as they get back on their feet.

Amazing friendly staff

Mum has been at the care home for six months now and during that time the care has been excellent. I am advised promptly of any problems which are dealt with speedily and professionally. When my husband died they went to great lengths to ensure mum was looked after and able to cope with the information. Her room is always clean and tidy. Fun activities!

Woodley Grange is a wonderful care home. All the staff are wonderful. Friendly, caring and professional. Dad is always telling his family how caring the staff are to him. Dad enjoys his meals at home, especially when the chef makes her delicious food. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all they do for my lovely dad.
