A Taste of Thailand: Community Comes Together at Woodley Grange
At Woodley Grange, we’re proud to host events that bring people together to learn and enjoy new experiences. Our recent Free Thai Cooking Workshop was a great success, offering guests the chance to master the art of making spring rolls and watch a live demonstration of edible vegetable carving by talented local Thai chef, Lilly Palmer.
The event was met with fantastic feedback from participants, with a huge favourite being the Dim Sum which everyone said was delicious.
Tania and Carol who attended the event said: “Thank you for a wonderful afternoon yesterday. We really enjoyed it and would love to be able to come again!”
One guest remarked: “We enjoyed learning about the Thai culture while learning how to make spring rolls. Lilly is very talented!”
Another attendee added: “The home is very welcoming and we can’t wait for more workshops.”
Commenting on the event, Care Home Manager, Loraine Tabbner, said; “It was a joy to see so many people engage with the workshop, picking up new culinary skills while connecting with others in the community.”
