There’s something truly special about sitting down for a slice of homemade cake, a warm drink, and a good chat — and that’s exactly what our Love Life Café is all about.
Held monthly at both Woodley Grange and Barton Lodge, this welcoming event invites relatives, friends, and members of the local community to enjoy delicious bakes, friendly faces, and meaningful connection – all in the comforting, homely settings of our two Manucourt care homes.
A Taste of Home, a Warm Welcome
Whether you’re visiting a loved one or simply fancy a change of scene, the Love Life Café offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy:

Our talented kitchen teams take pride in preparing a tempting variety of treats each month – from classic sponges and fruit loaves to seasonal favourites.
Two Homes, One Shared Spirit
While each of our care homes has its own unique charm, Woodley Grange and Barton Lodge are united in their mission to bring people together through warmth, hospitality, and community spirit. The Love Life Café is just one of the ways we make that happen:
Woodley Grange – Held on the last Friday of every month, 2–4pm. Tucked away in beautiful surroundings, our café offers a cosy, welcoming atmosphere for reconnecting with family and friends – or meeting new ones.
Barton Lodge – Join us on the third Thursday of every month, 2–4pm. With stunning sea views across to the Isle of Wight, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery while catching up with loved ones.
More Than Just Cake
At both homes, the Love Life Café is about so much more than sweet treats. It’s a time to:
