Barton Lodge welcome new Head of Care

Barton Lodge are delighted to introduce our new Head of Care, Lauren Moorehead. Lauren has a wealth of experience in her field and will be a fantastic addition to our team.

Lauren Moorehead – Head of Care

Lauren has several years’ experience working in care homes – having worked alongside the Head of Care at her previous home; giving her a valuable insight into the managerial responsibilities of working as a senior carer. As well as this, Lauren holds a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification and hopes to start working towards her Level 5 qualification soon.

Lauren is already settling in well at Barton Lodge and has spent lots of time getting to know the residents and their individual care needs. If you’re a regular visitor to Barton Lodge you can expect to see her around the home or out and about in the New Milton community, continuing to build the excellent relationships we have with local organisations.

Outside of work, Lauren plays darts twice a week, so we’re sure she’ll be getting involved in our regular games sessions! As well as this, Lauren is a big animal lover and she shares six cats with her partner.
