Wish Makers Campaign – Helping our residents’ dreams come true!

Manucourt is excited to announce the launch of the Barton Lodge and Woodley Grange Wish Makers campaign.

To help raise spirits during this difficult time, we’ve set ourselves a challenge – granting the wishes and dreams of our residents.

How Wish Makers works

Barton Lodge and Woodley Grange now each have a wishing well on site. With the assistance of our activities team, residents will be encouraged to make their wish by filling out a wish form and dropping it into the well – these can be found in the reception area of both homes.

Every month, a wish will be picked from each well and the team will work closely with our contacts and the local community to make the dream, big or small, become reality (or as near as realistically possible).

The challenging circumstances means we will all have to think creatively, but the need for hope and happiness has never been greater than it is right now.

Get involved

To make this programme a success, we ask for family members and friends to encourage their loved ones to drop their wishes into a well. We also welcome relatives and friends to email in any wishes they know their loved ones have always had.

Whilst we know it will be difficult due to the current challenges we’re facing in the UK, we’re looking forward to doing our very best to make their wishes come true.”
