Following an inspection in November 2017, Barton Lodge has been rated as Good overall and rated Good in all 5 key areas that they look at, namely whether the home is SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE and WELL-LED.
The inspectors drew their conclusion following a 2-day inspection where every aspect of the home was scrutinised. Inspectors spoke to professionals, staff members and with residents and their families. They praised our “clear, detailed and comprehensive” care plans and observed that “staff interacted with people with kindness, compassion and care”.
We have always strived to provide the very best level of care, attention and accommodation and we are thrilled that this has been recognised by the CQC. We have had excellent feedback from residents and residents’ families for our loving care and facilities over the last 17 years and remain committed to offering the very best.
Rizwan Walji, Director of Operations wrote to staff to thank them for their “engagement, devotion and commitment to our ‘loving care matters’ ethos”, and also stated that Barton Lodge remains committed to improvement!
